Description
The Royal Hotel is a privately owned 25 bedroom 3 star Hotel situated at Waterloo Liverpool, overlooking the Marine Gardens and the Mersey estuary, with views of the Wirral and North Wales in the distance. This fine Grade 11 listed building dates back to 1815 when it was named the Crosby Seabank Hotel. Just one year later, on the first anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo-18th June 1816- its name was changed to The Royal Waterloo Hotel, and the district around the hotel was also named after the famous battle. Today it retains much of its original character, with its grand proportions and Edwardian facade. Furnishings and décor have been carefully chosen to reflect the elegance of the era, whilst at the same time ensuring that surroundings are comfortable, relaxing and above all, homely.

All 25 bedrooms at the Royal have modern en-suite facilities. Colour television, radio, direct dial telephone, trouser press, hairdryer, mini bars upon request and tea/coffee making facilities on a welcome tray are all provided for your added convenience. Appointed and equipped to a high standard, every room is different, whether it be single, double, twin, Triple or family rooms. Several rooms have views over the Marine Gardens, to the river, with the Wirral and Welsh mountains beyond. A friendly and efficient room service is available when required
